Nancy and I were saddened by the sudden loss of Phil. He was a truly special person with a unique sense of humor and quiet demeanor. His generosity and willingness to help when needed will always be remembered and appreciated. May his family be comforted by the knowledge that he is with God.

Phil (A.K.A. Sasquatch), was a nickname Link gave him one early morning as they were picking him up to go Salmon fishing. They saw a hairy giant on the side of the road and Link yelled

” Sasquatch”, but it was actually Phil walking down the road to meet them. From there on his nickname was Sasquatch. He was actually the most gentle giant we have ever known. He was very good to our family. We thought of him as an Uncle. We have many good memories of spending time with Phil, Josie, and Miss Tee up north. He will deeply missed by our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Josie and the family. Lots of Love, Link, Kate, Brock, Cole and Maddie.

Phil will be missed,he worked with my Dad(Ramon Thompson) now they are probably raising cane in heaven. I will miss my hugs from Phil every time we ran into each other. There was a joke between Dad and Phil, over a rototiller,Dad laughed so hard it still works.(I didn’t get to tell Phil, but he knows now though.) Josie God bless you and your family, our prayers are with you.It meant the world to all of us, when You and Phil came to Dad abd Mom’s 50th Wedding Anniversary.Hugs, love, and blessings to you all.

Josie,

We were sorry to see the obituary notice in the Shoppers Guide regarding your beloved husband Philip.

We know you, along with many others, are going to miss him.

May the Lord God be your comfort (II Corinthians 1: 3-5) as you grieve and heal from your loss.

Love in Christ !!
