Dear Family, I will sincerely miss Pauline. She was a positive person with a smile and good wish every time I saw her. She went with the “flow” of life, so to speak. She enjoyed our crafts at Stanford Lodge. Played great bingo and won lots of jewelry over the years. She was a friend of my mother who also was a resident of the Lodge. The Brooks farm and the Stone farm were across the street from each other, in Watson. My mom was Kathryn Stone Taggett. Pauline shared many stories over the years and pictures as well. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed their visits. I am sorry for your loss, I will truly miss my friend. Karen

Dear Carolyn and family, I will miss Pauline and her wonderful smile she always greeted me with. She was a very special lady. I have always marveled at her great memory. And loved to listen to her tell about times when she and my father were young. She will be greatly missed. your cousin, Brenda

After my mother Gerry (Pauline’s sister) passed away, I enjoyed visiting Pauline and sharing stories about my mom. It was almost like having her with me again. I know Aunt Pauline missed her family and especially those members who had passed before her. I am comforted by knowing she is reunited with them. I will miss her greatly. Peace to you Aunt P.

Carolyn, Chris, Valerie and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I was only able to see your mom a few times, she was very special to me. I loved her upbeat outlook and she was always very kind and welcoming. I wish I could have spent more time with her. I’m sorry that we are not there with you, but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

We are saddened to hear of Pauline’s death, but happy knowing that she is in heaven with the Lord after living a long, wonderful life. She was a dear neighbor when she lived on Lawrence Drive and we fondly will always remember our long conversations with her. She was a gem, and always lit up when she talked of her family and her past. She taught us much about the Otsego she remembered from her youth. Our boys enjoyed mowing her lawn and then sitting and talking with her afterward. She touched our lives in such a kind way and we are glad to have known her. We just learned of her passing on August 12th and we’re sorry we didn’t know in time to pay our respects at the funeral. We send our sympathies to her family and wish you comfort in the memories you have of this dear woman. She was a blessing.
