assed away August 2, 2010. Paula was born September 6, 1942 in Plainwell, Michigan to Howard and Agnes Thomas. On September 26, 1959 Paula was united in marriage to Cecil Youtzy. Paula recently retired from Perrigo Company in Allegan. Paula loved to spend time with her family. She and Cecil enjoyed traveling especially to Kentucky, fishing and going on drives. She spent as much time as possible with her grandchildren and really enjoyed teaching them to cook. Paula also loved to take care of her dog, Daisy. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John and sister Eileen. She is survived by her husband, Cecil and two sons, Wayne Youtzy, Plainwell, MI and Greg and Lisa Youtzy, Kalamazoo, MI and her grandchildren Kaitlin, Allison, Samantha, Devon, Austin, Heidi and Ailey Youtzy and Scott Bennett. Also surviving is Paula’s sister Pat Higgins, mother-in-law Marjorie Youtzy, sisters-in-law Wanda Sheridan, Dawn Forney and Donna Kay Youtzy, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Friends may join the family to remember Paula at a luncheon at the Gun River Conservation Club on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at Rose Arbor Hospice for their help and support.
