I feel very blessed to have been Paula’s daughter-in-law for 52 years. She was a wonderful person, kind, generous, and loving, and she taught me many things.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the rest of her family.

My story of Paula is a beautiful story, a story of one sister’s amazing love for her family. For several years a wonderful lady named Thelma Woodstock had a special burden for all of her family members. She longed for each of them to trust Jesus for the Salvation that He so freely provides. Thelma had often requested prayer for each of them. One-by-one, as Thelma was fighting cancer, her sisters and sister-in-law (Paula) started attending church with Thelma. It was at that time when I recognized one of these dear ladies from my childhood, Winnie Blanchett. We rekindled our friendship, and because of that I was privileged to meet another Sister Marian Stipcak and her sister-in-law, Paula, and her dear sister Hazel Maxwell. It has been my joy to become friends with, and even have the privilege of filling in as part time teacher in their Sunday School Class. What a wonderful group of ladies! Thelma’s legacy lives on as Hazel, and others, continue to pray for each of our unsaved loved ones. Without seeing Paula each Sunday this old world is a little darker. But, that is not the case where Paula now fellowships with Winnie and Marian around our Lord’s Throne.

“O what a wonderful, wonderful day – day I will never forget;

After I’d wandered in darkness away, Jesus my Saviour I met.

O what a tender, compassionate friend – He met the need of my heart;

Shadows dispelling, With joy I am telling, He made all the darkness depart.”

Dee

I have so many wonderful memories of your Mom and spending time at your home. She always made time for us “little” kids. It was so good to hear her tell about receiving Christ as her Savior. Just thinking about the reunion that happened in Heaven when she went home to be with the Lord, can’t you just hear Uncle Jim saying, “where have you been? we have been waiting for you!”

Sandy and I will miss her and the happiness she brought into the lives of all of us who knew her. Junior

We loved Aunt Paula! She was one of the most giving, caring people we had every met and had a wonderful sense of humor! Since Uncle Ralph became a believer before he died, she will also be re-united with him. All of them together will be so joyful and it gives us hope to look forward to the time when we will see Jesus and all the rest, too! There’s getting to be quite a crowd up there now of the family. Praying for you, DeeAnn, as I’m sure you miss your mom, and with your own health concerns, too. Much love to you, Ralph and Debbi

I have checked this website almost every day ever since she died. Nani was and still is so important to me and I still can’t believe she’s gone. I miss her so and all I have left is her singing blue bear. We love you Nani. We miss you so much. It’s been almost three years and I’m still not finished grieving. I love you.
