Paul S. Young, formerly of Otsego, Michigan, passed away

. Mr.Young was born

February 14, 1915

in

Otsego

Township

to F. Leon and Rose (Nice) Young and was a lifelong resident of the area. Paul served his country in WW II and was member of VFW Post #3030 and the American Legion Post #225. He had worked for Allen Electric, Nellis Automotive, North American Aluminum, Hatman Corp and retired from Humphrey Products after 16 years. Paul built steps and patios and enjoyed keeping busy helping friends and neighbors. In December 2006 he donated the Blacksmith Shop on

Jefferson Road

to the Otsego Historical Society. On August 13, 1947 in Otsego he married Dorothy Brown, who died in 2005. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Marian Gingery and Wanda Maschke. Surviving are a brother Roy O. (Lola May) Young of VanBuren, Arkansas and a sister, Carol (Stan) Plunkett of Phoenix, Arizonia; and many nieces,

nephews and extended family. Friends may meet the family at the

Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego,

from

1:00 P.M.

until the time of service at

2:00 P.M.

Wednesday , Pastor Tim Secord

officiating. Burial will follow at
