Ann and family, We were so sorry to hear about Paul’s passing. When we were kids he always made everyone laugh! He had a great sense of humour even as a child. My Mom and Dad told me stories about some of his antics when he was only a little boy, He loved to imitate Jackie Gleason!. It is nice to be remembered in such a loving way. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Carol

Ann, Shelia and Todd,
We want to express our sympathy to you all over Paul’s passing. Just as our children grew up together, we grew up together as parents. Ann, you and Paul were sort of adoptive parents to a lot of boys from the OHS class of 1995. Paul’s graciousness, generousity and kindness was an example and a blessing to the boys and the parents. Paul had an incredible wit and sense of humor that always left us with a smile on our faces whenever we crossed paths with him over the years.
All those who encountered him during his time on earth were enhanced by the experience. We will be celebrating Paul’s legacy and thanking God for bringing him to us and sharing him with us for all these years.
We will be thinking about you and praying for you in the difficult times to come. Your loss is our loss, your grief is our grief.
Love, Jim and Debbie Miller

I am in shock just finding out the news of Paul’s passing. Ann my thoughts and prayers are with you. Paul was a very dear friend to me when we worked at Meijers together . And after I left , and we would meet at a local pub ,or good old Plainwell days we would always relive the past and catch up on recent events. I will always remember his smile and that that quick wit that we all loved.

Mrs Peterson, as our bus driver..we never forget your kindness to us. It sounds like your husband also left that same lastingimpression .My dad used to work with your husband years ago at Meijer. Possibly all the way back to Douglas Meijer, in the 70’s. His name is Bill.Your husband & my father also worked with Brian Stapert, whom both are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Just know all of our families are praying for you at this time! Deepest Sympathy!

My most sincere condolences to the entire family. Paul will be remembered for his ever-smiling face and his being a true gentleman. It was not until his loss that I came to realize that Paul was a dear friend of my sister and brother-in-law, as well (Gary and Joy Chase), whom he worked with at Meijer. They, too, have nothing but great things to say about Paul and his character.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this very difficult time.

To the family of Paul Petersen,
My sincere condolences to you. I just learned of Paul’s passing. Paul was a close and dear friend of mine in grade school through high school. We lived a block from each other. He was a great guy and a true friend and I will never forget him.
