I am so sorry to hear of Paul’s death. Paul was the pastor in Paw Paw when I was a newly appointed United Methodist pastor at St. Paul’s UMC In Lawton. He was a kind, thoughtful mentor to me during that time and I was always grateful for his support.

So enjoyed Paul and Bev’s friendship. We were always delighted when Paul would come and share his talents on the piano with our church. Grateful for their love and care in years past.

I have fond memories of Paul from his time in St. Johns. I was blessed to work with him as the church office coordinator during his pastorate at First UMC. His quiet spirit, kindness, and his devotion to God (and his church) taught me much and helped me develop a stronger faith and my service to God through the church. He would occasionally bless the day with time spent at the piano at the church, lifting the spirits of all who were around to enjoy his talents. I know he will rest securely in the arms of our Savior.
