Nancy Hudson
Nancy I. Hudson of Otsego passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 in Kalamazoo. Nancy was born February 27, 1938 in Plainwell to Edwin and Isabelle (Lepper) Martin. She had worked for Parker Brass then Pipp Hospital as a dietary cook for 27 years retiring in 1996. Nancy enjoyed flowers, gardening, NASCAR, cooking, sewing, magazine & newspaper clipping, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Plainwell Assembly of God Church.
On February 2, 1972 she married Ronald Hudson who survives. Also surviving are her children, John (Christy) Foote of S.C., Michael (Audrey) Foote of Plainwell, Scott (Amy) Jordan of MA, Julie (David) Guthrie of Otsego; close friends, Wendy (Donald) Munro;12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren with 2 due soon; her siblings, Julie Strand of CA, Ed (Jan) Martin of Plainwell and Ruth McBride of Plainwell. Preceding her in death were her parents, 2 children, Tommy Foote & June Foust; siblings, Al & Dale DesVoignes and a niece, Rhonda Martin. Cremation has taken place.
Friends may visit with Nancy’s family from 10-11 A.M. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Plainwell Assembly God where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 A.M. Private burial of ashes will be held at a later time. Contributions in memory of Nancy may be made to the Plainwell Assembly of God.

I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy was a wonderful person and I am blessed to have known her. I am thankful to God that Nancy was able to spend her last days surrounded by her family, and I pray that God give you comfort as you mourn her passing.

I am so truely for the loss of your mom and grandma ….I can remember seeing her in the kitchen at the hospital for so many years . She was a very kind women .I know how hard this is ….sending my thoughts and prayers xoxox

Dear Ron and Family – I am so very sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. She was a dear friend and a sister Red Hatter with me in recent years. Nancy loved her family dearly and was a blessing to all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Ron and your family at this very sad time in your lives. Nancy is well now and will always be with you in your heart and minds and through all the wonderful memories that each of you share of her. God bless you all!

JULIE and family, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. You know how much everyone loved her. She always had a smile on her face. Losing your mom is a tough one, know that my thoughts are with you.
