Nancy A. Gwilliams
Nancy passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born June 2, 1947 in Allegan, the daughter of Lavern and Helen (Germain) Lindsey. Nancy was a 1965 Otsego High School graduate. She started working in dietary service at Plainwell Pines Nursing Home and later became a nurse’s aide at Alamo Nursing Home for over 15 years. Nancy enjoyed going to church and having coffee and lunch with her friends.
Surviving are her daughter, Kristy (Matt) VanBeek of Plainwell; grandsons, Brennan VanBeek and Hayden VanBeek; sister, Kay Connor of Allegan; sister –in-law, Diana Turner; mother-in-law, Vera Gwilliams; several aunts, uncles, cousins, special friend, Ardis Wright of Allegan and her caretaker, Lou Phelps.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may visit with Nancy’s family Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego where a Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Sean Kidd officiating. Cremation will follow.

Sorry to hear of Cousin Nancy’s death .We shared many good times together at lake Michigan and at other lakes almost every weekend You will be sadly missed .Lots of memories of our special times together . RIP Nan.

Sending our prayers to the little ones who grandma Nancy loved so much .Keep her in your memories .She talked about you all the time .We also have fond memories growing up together Sundays spent with our family’s at lake Michigan and Ely lake .Nancy was a wonderful person .RIP Nan rest in peace . I was a classmate of Nancy’s and we sometimes walked to school together when we were in elementary school. I haven’t seen her since graduation, but am sorry for her loss. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

I also was a classmate of Nancy’s & hadn’t seen her since graduation. The end of October I had her on my mind. I am not sure why, however, that same week I was thinking about her I happened to see her and had a chance to talk with her. She caught me up on the love’s of her life which were her husband, daughter & grandson’s. It was so good to see Nancy and talk with her. God Bless you all.
