Rodney,

I was so shocked to hear about Nancie. The same thing keeps going round and round in my head is that it’s not fair, not right, but we all know that! Nancie was always such a joy to work with and see at work. She never without fail had that big smile and could always see the solution to whatever the problem was. She was a major help to me and I’ll never forger her, as will anybody who she ever came in contact with. I told someone that when we would have a spill at work, I’d look on the bright side because, “Well, I’ll get to talk to Nancie”. She was very special….

Take these days one at a time and remember that you have many, many friends you can call on. I’m one.

Dear Rodney,

George and I cannot tell you how sorry we are regarding the loss of your beloved Nancie. I will treasure the moment when Nancy brought you home to Kevin and Caron’s and we were judging whether you would “pass the “test.” You definitely “passed the test “. It was very obvious that day how happy you made Nancy and what a great couple the two of you made. We will continue to pray that you will find peace and comfort in the days to come.

Sincerely

Jo and George

So sorry for your loss. Nancie was a great person to work with here at Pfizer. Whenever I had any environmental questions at work, I would call Nancie first and she would always point me in the right direction. She was always so kind and helpful. Our prayers go out to your family, during this tragic time.

Rodney –

Words can not express how sorry I am. It is so hard to understand why, why now, but only God knows that answer and even though we do not understand his reasoning at times, he ALWAYS has a purpose. I hope through many prayers and never ending support, you can find some comfort and peace in the days to come. I’ve only known you for a short time, but what I do know is that you and Nancie had a love that others were so envious of. Cherish that and hold on to that. I will continue to pray for you and your family and please know that there are so many of us who you can reach out to at anytime!! We all love you dearly!!

Sincerely,

Phyllis, Kevin, Caron, Rodney, Tucker and Wyatt,

We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Maybe this prayer from Evelyn Christenson expresses it best for us:

“Lord, here I am. There is no friction between my will and yours. Whatever you have for me, I know you will give me enough strength, enough grace. I know you will give me all that I need, so Lord, here I am, ready to do your will.”

I am stunned and in disbelief. I am so sorry for your loss. I was the after school care director at St. Monica’s. I enjoyed taking care of Tucker and Wyatt. They were such a blessing, and I enjoyed seeing Nancie come to pick up the boys. She was always so nice and always had a big smile on her face to greet the boys. My heart is breaking for the boys and for everyone else that is close to her. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone at this time. Please give the boys a huge hug from me.

My condolences to all family members, particularly to Wyatt and Tucker (I know what it is like to lose a parent at a young age). I worked with your mom in the late 90s and early 2000’s. She had a quick smile, a hearty laugh, and a good sense of humor. She was just a joyful person. A sentiment you can be proud of and carry with you. Peace.
