Mollie L. Riker passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Briarwood Assisted Living in Allegan.
She was born on November 18, 1932 in Allegan, the daughter of Maxwell and Bernice (Richardson) Morris. She had lived in the area and had worked at Kal-Equip and had been active with the Moose Lodge. On August 18, 1973 she married Russell M. Riker and shortly after they moved to Homer where she had worked in the lunchroom at the local schools. In her spare time Mollie enjoyed crocheting.
Surviving are her 4 children, Roger (Roxanne) Griffith of Richland, Charlene (Ray) Brown of Otsego, Kathy (David) LaFountain of Baldwin and Tish (Mike) Rohlfing of WA; 4 step-children, Cindy Kirkbridge, Cathi, (Louie) Kroul, Teri (Eric) Fogel all of Homer and David ((Yvette) Riker of Slidell, LA; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren, 17 step-great-grandchildren; a step-great-great-grandchild; and her siblings, Norman “Bud” (Barbara) Morris and Verna (Harold “Skip”) VanderVeen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and by a brother, Denny.
Friends may visit with Mollie’s family on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 10am until the time of the service at 11am at The Master’s Feet Ministry in Otsego, MI with Pastor Ray Brown officiating.
