Mid Sutherland

Mid J. Sutherland of Plainwell passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at his home. Mid was born February 6, 1968 in Allegan to Thomas Sr. and Geraldine (Hatten) Sutherland and was a lifelong resident of the area. For many years he worked in the tire business with his father. On August 29, 1997 in Centerville he married Dawn Cook, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Amber Sutherland of Murfreesboro, TN, Mia Sutherland and Mid (Katelyn) Sutherland, Jr., both of Plainwell; five grandchildren, Jordan, Jazmyn, Jerrit, Mahrle and Gracie; his father, Thomas Sutherland, Sr. and step mother Renee Hatten; seven brothers and a sister, Thomas (Susan) Sutherland, Connie (Chad) Sutherland Yesh, Robert (Stacie) Sutherland, Thomas James (Sherri) Sutherland, Jr., Michael (Cassie)Sutherland, Kevin Sutherland, Mathew (Taylor) Sutherland and Jesse Sutherland; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Hatten; and two sisters, Mary Sue and Tammy Lyn.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Plainwell Assembly of God Church, 202 S. Sherwood Ave., Plainwell, MI with Pastor David Alderman officiating. Contributions in memory of Mid may be made to Dawn Sutherland for help with expenses.

Im so sorry to hear of mids passing.i have tons of memories of the two of u back on orleans when we all lived next toeach other.he was great guy and will be missed greatly.if u need anything dawn please let me know.any time day or night i will do my best to be here for you and your family.all my hugs and love to u all.
