Mickey passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 6, 2024, at his home in Otsego.
He was born October 9, 1951, in Kalamazoo, the son of Harry and Eleanor (Linsley) Horrocks. Mickey proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from Ferris State University and for many years worked as a quality control engineer at Eaton and then for Mazda, until his retirement. Halfway through his retirement he went back to work for Sartorius. Mickey enjoyed the traveling his job required and found work very rewarding.
Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer Horrocks; his sister, Sherry Horrocks and nephews, Christoper and Sam Horrocks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Thomas and Bud Horrocks.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place. Burial of ashes will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta.
