Michael Gray

Michael passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at his home. 

He was born January 6, 1950 in Kalamazoo. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Marion Gray. Mike was a 1968 graduate of Otsego High School, attended KVCC, Western and served in the Air Force. He was a deputy Sheriff for Kalamazoo County for 35 years. 

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Denise Carter Gray of Kalamazoo; daughters, Kerra Gray of Otsego, Kyleen Gray of Cooper; brothers Doug (Gail) Gray, Dale Gray; sisters, Sharon Permenter and Denise (Bill) Coe and several nieces and nephews. 

Mike had a giving heart and would do anything for anybody. He was a wonderful husband and father. He will be sorely missed by all, especially his fur babies. 

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.

The family wishes to thank the EMT’s, police, fire and rescue, the medical examiner and others that were so kind to us.
