Mike passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at his home in Allegan.
He was born August 19, 1964 in Otsego, the son of Edward and Mary (Mehrley) Tourangeau. Mike was a 1982 Otsego High School graduate. He worked at Michigan Summer Blueberries, General RV and at Gibraltar Manufacturing. In his free time Mike enjoyed working on cars, coaching baseball, basketball and football, fishing, hunting, taking vacations and going to water parks. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. On July 31, 1999 in Bangor he married Michelle Johnson who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Ashley (Jason) Morley of Gobles, Michael (Andrea) of Plainwell, Tyler Tourangeau of Allegan, Kohl (Nikki Walker) Tourangeau of Allegan and Shaylynn Tourangeau of Allegan; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Aubrey, Brendan and Melody; his mother, Mary; siblings, Kevin, Marty, Robin, Sherry and Tony along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward.
Friends may visit with Mike’s family from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Winkel Funeral Home, where a private family funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 5, 2021 with Mary Ann DeVries officiating. A live stream will be available here:

Burial will follow at Hudson Corners Cemetery in Allegan.

In accordance with covid -19 guidelines a limit of 25 people at a time will be allowed and masks and social distancing will be required.
Contributions in memory of Mike may be made to his family, American Diabetes Foundation or to a youth sports program.

I came to know Mike by helping with T-Ball when my son was young. He was a great coach and a fun guy. So sorry to hear of his death. I pray that the family can find peace in Jesus Christ.

i am at loss of words to even know what to say, or think what your all going thru. to mikesmikes wife and children and grandchildren, im so sorry for your loss. it makes me sad that this happened and you all have to go thru this. been many years but many memories and fun. know im thinking of all of you at this time.

I worked with Mike at Perrigo in the 90’s and we had a great friendship. I send my thoughts and prayers to his family. I will always remember him as our leader to that mud volleyball championship.
