to Roy and Mary (Morren) Krusinga and was a lifelong resident of the area. He served his country in the U.S. Army 193

Tank Brigade during the Korean War. Since 1960 he had owned and operated Krusinga Plumbing in

Kalamazoo

. Merwyn was a member of Third Reformed Church. His favorite activities were woodworking, gardening and spending time on

Drummond

Island

. On

May 15, 1951

in

Kalamazoo

he was married to Frances VanOosten, who survives. Also surviving are three sons and a daughter, Greg (Margaret) Krusinga of Bellevue, Becky (Dennis) Vandelfzijl and Gary (Joette) Krusinga, both of Kalamazoo and Jeff (Karen) Krusinga of Ann Arbor; eight grandchildren, Sarah Vandelfzijl, Rachel (Ian) VanHover, Joshua Vandelfzijl, Jacob Krusinga, Charles Krusinga, Ryen Krusinga, Kayla Krusinga and Samantha Krusinga; a brother, Roy (Dolly) Krusinga of Allegan; several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family from 3 to 5 and

Funeral services will be held at

Tuesday at Third Reformed Church,

Kalamazoo

, Rev. Charles Doornbos officiating. Burial will follow at
