Mary V. Girton, age 91, of Alamo Township

(formerly of Watson Twp. & Plainwell)

passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 in Alamo. Mary was born February 15, 1918 in Van Buren Township, Pulaski Co, IN, the daughter of Chris and Hazel (Strong) Frazier. She was a Senior Companion for Kalamazoo Senior Services and a longtime Busy Worker at the Watson Church. Mary is survived by her children, Imogene LaFountain of Wayland, John (Ann) Girton, Jr. of Kalamazoo, Virginia (Joe) Roberts of Grand Haven and Kathy Maher of Martin; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, several aunts and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may meet the family from 10 A.M. Friday until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M. at the

Winkel Funeral Home

Otsego

with Celebrant Bill Rose officiating. Contributions in memory of Mary may be made to the Alamo Nursing Home.
