Mary P. Doubblestein

Mary P. Doubblestein age 92 passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Life Care Center in Plainwell.

She was born June 18, 1924 in Bussey, Iowa the daughter of Ray and Ida (Terrell) Bonnett. She had been a homemaker before going to work at Parker Hannifin as a head modifier for 28 years. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and playing games like bingo and Yahtzee. In 1942 she married Earl Doubblestein who passed away in 1977.

Surviving are her children, Jerry (Cindy) Doubblestein of Martin and Paula Mitchell of Plainwell, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, James Doubblestein and 10 siblings.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Grandma will be missed. I will always hold dear the memories of playing yahtzee, and all the wonderful things she did for me. I hope that she is at peace and that she is reuniting with loved ones that have gone before her.
