So sorry to hear of Mary Lou’s passing. Our thoughts & prayers to the family. I have such beautiful memories of our years working together @ Alamo nursing home, & working bingo @ the campground with her. We laughed so hard & shared many a luscious meal she cooked for us. Her brownies were the best. I remember fondly riding to work with her & she would pull up in her big Cadillac & play that crazy musical horn. I’m sure my neighbors appreciated the wake up call @ 5 A. M.! One time we had a blizzard & we had to ride a snowmobile into work & if you knew mary Lou, you know how entertaining that was. RIP sweet lady. You entertained us so eloquently & we loved you. Thanks for sharing your huge heart.

Mary Lou will be missed by anyone and everyone she met. She was one special lady. I have so many memories of our days at Alamo Nursing Home and her good cooking. She had such a great humor and found just about anything funny. I’ll never make macaroni and cheese as good as she could or pineapple upside down cake. She always wanted to give you a taste and then you were hooked. Till we meet again old friend!

My mother and I were saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. Mom knew her from Kal Equip, and I went to school with Jane …. many many years ago. May your hearts be lightened by all your memories of her. Talk and laugh, and tell stories of her through this holiday season …. remembering her is the very best gift you can give her.
