Mary Jean Anderson of Kalamazoo passed away

. Mrs. Anderson was born
October 14, 1920
in Plainwell to Ruby and Frances (Gerry) Tubbs and was a life long resident of the area. During her working years she had been employed with area banks, worked at Weyerhauser Paper Co. and was a secretary for a women’s clothing store. But the job she enjoyed most was working nights and weekends at the Otsego Elks Club. Mary was a life member of the Otsego Elks #1711 B.P.O.E and her favorite past time was reading. Surviving are two daughters, Deidre (Gary) Brown and Lynn (Dave) Morrell; 3 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters,
Frances
‘Zeb’ Klumpp and Marge Sweetland; several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Anderson in 1999; a granddaughter; a grandson; three sisters and a brother. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 22, 2006, with Rev. Mark Minegar officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mary may be made to her family for a headstone.
