Mark Robert-William Verploegh

Mark Robert-William Verploegh died Thursday, June 19, 2008 in Otsego. Mark was born January 11, 1981 in Kalamazoo to Robert Verploegh and Angelina Walker and attended Otsego High School. His favorite hobbies were collecting Hot Wheels and WWII memorabilia and building model cars and airplanes. He loved baseball and was an avid Red Sox fan. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Angelina and Patrick Clark of Otsego; his father, Robert Verploegh of Parchment; his brother, David Verploegh of Parchment; a step-brother and step-sister, Brian Clark of Grand Rapids and Amanda Clark of Otsego; his grandparents, Diane and George Marks of Vicksburg and Barbara Verploegh of Parchment; a special niece, Saige Verploegh of Otsego; several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and a long time friend, Ben Bloomquist of Otsego. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jacob Verploegh, and his grandmother, Barbara Clark. Friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, Mr. Bill Rose officiating. Graveside services will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego. Contributions in memory of Mark may be made to his family for expenses.
