Marilyn Crotser

Marilyn passed away, Friday, December 23, 2022, at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.

She was born June 3, 1938 in Hopkins, the daughter of Leon and Edna (Cooley) Arnsman. For over 27 years Marilyn worked for General Motors. She enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles, camping and traveling, working in her flower gardens, spending the winters in Florida and taking care of her family.

She liked working with the youth and was active in the choir at her church in Florida. She was also a member of Lakeland Reformed Church in Vicksburg and the Otsego VFW Post #3030 Ladies Auxiliary. On December 19, 1999, in Vicksburg, she married David G. Crotser who survives.

Also surviving are her children, Sue Ellen (Robert Morgan) Meisheri of Arizona, Beth Gudith Wood of Texas and Julie (Gary) Wheeler of Otsego; step-children, David (Laura) Crotser of Indiana and Colleen Crotser of Portage; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, LeeDale “Pete” (Peggy) Arnsman, Jim (Rita) Arnsman, Richard (Caroline) Arnsman and Margaret Vanderveen; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Arnsman, Gitta Arnsman and Joyce Kruithoff along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Roger Gudith and siblings, Betty Kruithoff, Delbert, Fredrick “Fritz” and Raymond Arnsman.

Friends may meet with Marilyn’s family starting at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Stephen Burrow officiating.

Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego.

Contributions in memory of Marilyn may be made to the Church of God in Otsego,

Alzheimer’s Foundation of America

or Lakeland Reformed Church in Vicksburg.

Dave and family, I’m very sorry to hear of the passing of your wife Marilyn. I don’t know if you remember me or not but we lived across the street from Walt and Josie Nidy.. it has been many years from the Fulton days. I didn’t know you were even in this area. My husband and I also live in Plainwell.. I just want to extend my deepest and most sincere sympathy to you and your family.May Marilyn Rest in Peace

I only met her for a short time but she was very friendly and always smiling! She will be missed by many in Camp Inn!
