Marianne D. Miner of Allegan (formerly of Otsego) passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in Allegan. Mrs. Miner was born July 25, 1941 in Kalamazoo to Virgil and Vernice (Roebuck) Burchette. Marianne loved her family and was a devoted homemaker. Her leisure time was spent reading and doing arts and crafts.
Surviving are two sons and five daughters, William (Susan) Miner of Otsego, Joseph (Denise) Miner of Borculo, Michelle (Jeff) Coulter of Otsego, Geana (Bruce) Miner of Allegan, Dorothy Warrington of East Jordan, Viva Benton and Amy Miner, both of Plainwell; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Frances Stephenson of Florida, James Burchette of Otsego, Kay Evans of Arkansas, Richard Burchette of Florida and Carmen Rayman of Alamo; an uncle, Lawrence “Sonny” Roebuck of Florida; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Joseph Miner, III; and two daughters, Letha Burkhead and Brenda Dean.
Her family will greet friends from 1 to 3PM Saturday at the
Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego
where Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Minister Richard Wiley officiating. Burial will be at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego.

God bless you all in this time of loss…Aunt Mari was a great woman who not only showed us compasion but tought us what was important in life. She loved her children, nieces and nephews,siblings, and everyone she met. If you met my Aunt Mari you were never the same again…She not only influenced many lifes but she touched the lives of everyone she ever met.
