Maggie passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at her home in Plainwell.
She was born June 7, 1946 in Munising, the daughter of Paul and Henrietta (Rollain) Lukowski. Maggie had worked at Meijer’s in Holland for 15 years. In her free time she enjoyed painting, doing crafts, bowling, and decorating. Maggie loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Daniel (Teresa) Giles of Alabama and Sarah Giles of Plainwell; 5 grandchildren, Amber Gleason, Brianna Sparks, Kellie Giles, Nathan Giles and Seth Giles; 3 great-grandchildren, Payton, Chase and Colton Gleason; her siblings, Georgia, Jimmy, Della, Paul and Suzie and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, foster parents and 7 siblings.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at Corner Bible Church in Allegan over Labor Day weekend.

Maggie and I cleaned a lot of houses together. I always enjoyed the time that I spent with Maggie. We definitely lost contact.
I was very sorry to hear the news of her passing.

So sorry to hear of Maggies passing. She was a very kind woman and she will be missed. I am sure that her and mom are reminiscing the old times in heaven. Rest assured Dan and Sarah you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.
