First of all very very sorry for your loss. 2nd I’ll say Mr Boss was favorite person at Cooper. I would come home and say Mr. Boss said this and my mom would say no…you’re thinking of Mr. Hindbaugh. She didn’t know until later that there was an actual Mr. Boss

I was out of Cooper before Mrs Boss worked there. I called my mom (who worked at Cooper for years Pam Overhuel) to tell her and she was very sad.

She said Mae was one of the sweet people. I asked what like sugar sweet? because I had bad reception. She said yes sweet as in one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

I can still picture Mr Boss…with a thousand keys on his side and my mom is heart broken about Mrs Boss because she said that there only so many sweet people in this world and we just lost one.

Again we are so sorry for your loss.., and for my lousy spelling.

MaeMarie was one of the best friends I ever had in this life. Our adventures were insanely hilarious. We laffed together. Cried together. Went to writer’s class together. She was a gifted writer. Shared our deep secrets. She was there for me when my son died. She turned Everything into a great story. Made the Best quiche in the world! She shared simply about Christ. I Know She Ran into His Arms. Home at Last. Love you forever my Friend.

I am sadden to hear of the passing of your mom. I know there has been a great reunion in Heaven. My condolences to the family and close friends.

I remember your folks from Cooper School, always a kind and happy presence at the school and you could count on them. I remember one day I was upset and your mom was there and asked me what was wrong. “my dad’s car is here but I can’t find him” well it was because your folks had purchased that car from my dad. its a good memory now and brings a smile to my face. My mom (Charlene Hawkins) also worked at Cooper School, helping out in the lunch room and noon recess so the teachers had a break. My folks always spoke highly of your family.

I visited with Mae Marie a few years ago while my mom was at the Alamo Nursing home,. part of the welcoming comity there , we chatted about the car and school. Same kind lady I remember from my childhood. She will be missed greatly but what a reunion there has been with your dad, my folks and so may other great people.

I am so sorry to hear of Mae”s passing. She was a very nice and caring lady. I remember when I was younger, she would take us to Church and let us play in her yard. In my later years she was my Avon and Tupperware lady. She was always watching over the neighborhood. My dad Lived across from her. One day she could not get a hold of me, so she drove all the way out to Allegan Country Medical Care where I worked, to let me know he was not well. I was so great full for her kindness that day. I am glad I got to go visit with her a few months ago at Alamo Nursing care. I found her to be the same kind and caring person to other residents and staff. She will always be in my memories from time to time, God Bless her family

So sorry to hear about Mae Marie’S passing. Lloyd went to High School with Mae Marie. She attended some class reunions. She did not graduate from Allegan High School but was always on the class listing and always invited to the reunions. She lived across the street, in Otsego , from us for some time. Always friendly and welcoming.

We will miss her smiling face. Prayers for Don and the Family.

Boss family, Mae Marie was one of a kind, she was so gifted in her ability to make friends and look over them to make sure their needs were taken care of. I will always remember her sense of RIGHT./WRONG She was a true friend to many in the Nursing Home. She will be missed . I could always get her to change subjects if I brought up Tupperware and her career in sales. Thank you for sharing her with us.
