David and family,
I am so sad to learn of Madeline’s home-going. She always meant so much to me and my family through the years. From her enthusiastic piano playing at church to her story-telling and jokes to her love of all things domestic and creative, she was quite a lady! I loved her occasional card in the mail filled with a poem or word of encouragement. I admired her in so many ways but especially her desire to walk with Jesus. I am confident that she is talking up a storm with him right now! Rest in peace, beautiful Madeline! You are loved.

I do not pay attention to obituaries – I’m so sorry to hear this. I loved Maddie Waddie. I loved what a good piano player she was and I loved even more that she wasn’t afraid to say exactly what she thought and felt. I loved that woman – she was truly an inspiration to me in many ways.
