To Lyle’s family. We were so sorry to see in today’s paper that you lost Lyle. We used to have coffee with him quite often when the Plainwell Harding’s was still downtown. He was a great guy and knew so much about alot of things and was very interesting to talk to. He will be sadly missed and we consider ourselves lucky to have known Lyle. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and that we extend our most sincere sympathy for your loss. Please take care now.

To the Willard Family , I have lost a neighbor a friend , and my best friends dad . Lyle was a hard working man … some days all he knew was working and sleeping . He was a good livestock Farmer because he loved animals . I always looked forward to meeting him for coffee, because he never said much , but when he did you had better listen ! My sympathy to his family . Farewell you honored Veteran .
