. Mrs. Cutler was born

June 25, 1928

in Bloomingdale to Julius and Louisa (Schmitt) Dockweiler. Louise was employed as a production foreman at Kal-Equip Co. in Otsego for many years. Later she was a salesperson for Century 21 Real Estate before retiring to a home on

Eagle

Lake

with her husband. She and Hubert shared many happy years there. Louise enjoyed music and dancing, gardening, cooking and baking for family and friends. On

November 8, 1947

in

Kalamazoo

she was married to Hubert M. Cutler, who preceded her in death in December 2004. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Elmer, Edward and George Dockweiler; a sister, Ruth Strickler; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Mildred Dockweiler; and a brother-in-law, Orville Strickler. Louise is survived by two daughters, Linda Beattie of Plainwell and Patti Cutler of Bloomingdale; her grandsons, Kerry (Kim) Conklin and Erik Conklin, both of Shreveport, LA, Michael Conklin of Nottawa, MI and Joshua (Melanie) Beattie of Ft. Myers, FL; two great-grandsons, Nicholas and Riley of Ft. Myers; one great-granddaughter, Kailey of Cooper, MI. Friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the

Winkel Funeral Home,

Otsego,

where services will be held at

10:30 A.M.

Monday, Mr. William Rose, funeral celebrant, officiating. Burial will follow at

Lindsley

Cemetery

at 2:30 P.M. Contributions in memory of Louise may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
