Eloise J. “Lois” Morris of Allegan, Michigan (formerly of Otsego) passed away Friday, December 2, 2011, in Allegan. Mrs. Morris was born October 13, 1922, the daughter of DeForrest and Myrtle (Smith) Henry.
For over 20 years she was employed with Kal-Equip. In her leisure time she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting, ceramics, flower gardening and boating. Lois was a great cook whose favorite food was chocolate. She enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk Show and The Waltons, cigarettes and coffee. Lois loved playing with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald (Cheryl) Julien of South Carolina and Bud Smith (and his fiancé Debra Quick) of Otsego; 10 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her three husbands, Butch Julien, Charles “Bud” Smith and Gilbert Morris; two daughters, Carmen “Tommie” Watson and
Beth Nickerson
; and a granddaughter, Tammy Jane Watson.
Friends may visit with her family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, funeral celebrant Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego.
Contributions in memory of Lois may be made to Ely Manor, Allegan.
