Also surviving are her children, Angela Herring of West Olive, Joe Jr. (Michelle) Wahmhoff of Allendale and Richard (Melissa) Wahmhoff of Holland; 8 grandchildren, Sarah (Joshua) Walrath, Emily Herring, Nicole (Collin) Shamus, Avery Eddinger, Alex Wenger, Jacob Wahmhoff, Katie Wahmhoff and Hannah Wahmhoff; 1 great-granddaughter, Aria Silguero-Wahmhoff; siblings, Ron Watson, John (Claudia) Watson and Debra (Ernie) Miller along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, James Herring.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.

Dear family, My heart is broken, Linda’s passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts, she was just such a beautiful person. Went to school with her, became close friends for years, not only did we have fun as teenage girls we took dance lessons together for years, had so much fun doing this, so I know she is dancing in heaven, what a beautiful angel she is today. God bless you Joe and your family, she will be missed but we know she is home and will live in all our hearts. All my love, Sandy

She was such a good person, loved her family and friends and had the love to take care of kids and run her own daycare. She had the voice that you had to love! She is in a better place now. God Bless You. Oh and Linda say hi to Mainard for me.

Joe & family, Our hearts are absolutely broken to read of Linda’s passing. Her personality was always cheerful and vibrant and she lived life to its fullest. You and the family were the center of her life. She absolutely loved her dear family.
“God knows your loss. Lay your burdens in His hands for He is strong. Rest your head on His shoulders, for He is compassionate.
Give to Him your pain and sorrow, for He is love.”
We pray that God’s love will comfort your sorrowing heart and that His promises bring you peace in the years ahead. We send you our love, prayers and heartfelt sympathy.

Condolences to your family. One of my fondest memories (John Kucala) was Linda making Ron, myself and a few others pizza on her dad’s pontoon. Which he had one of the first pontoons on the lake. Rest In Peace Linda. Sandy and John Kucala

Thinking of all in prayer for comfort at this difficult time. Linda was so loving and kind to all blessed to know her. I’m so thankful I was able to keep in touch through the years on Facebook. Sadly missing another of our classmates from the OHS CLASS OF 1964.

Dearest Joe, John, Claudia, Ron, Debbie, and all the family,
We are so very sorry to read online here in Maggie Valley, NC today that your beloved Linda passed away a few weeks ago. She was a very, kind, sweet, and generous lady, and we know that you will miss her very much. We had such fun visiting in Michigan at the lake , Joe and Linda’s mobile home in Allegan, John and Claudia’s home, etc., and getting to know all of our “extended family” during the several times times we visited there. These photos of Linda and Joe were taken out to supper at the “Olive Garden” in December 1990 at Christmas time when they came to visit parents Naila and Dick. Linda was always so happy and “smiley”, with a terrific personality, and now in heaven with both of them. I loved sitting on the sofa with her, and listening to all the fun family stories. Our heartfelt sympathy to all of you. A Mass will be said for her at our Catholic Church, St. Margaret of Scotland, a ten-minute walk away.
We miss all of you very much, and wish we could have attended the funeral Mass there.
Joan, Spence, Mike, and Eddie Vigneau
