We are so sorry for your loss.

John 14:1-4 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God]; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

The robust family that he leaves behind, the one that he helped create, will miss his eagerness and friendliness at our future get- togethers. Mel will be remembered at the memorial celebration but felt in the warmth of the family love that we had him for him.

Next summer’s family reunion will be missing his steadfast attendance and warm welcome. That deep voice and intense participation will be missed under a beautiful sunny sky. God called him because he needs him now, but we will miss him with our remaining time on earth.

We are saddened to hear of Leo’s passing. Life is a journey and we should not focus on the destination but on adventures along the way. The good times as well as the not so good. Focus on family and friends, the good laughs that took our breath away. Remembering that memories are ever lasting. God has called Leo home.
