Sorry to read of your loss. Mothers seem to have the special knack of knowing how to replace others, yet nobody can ever replace a mother. Hugs to you all. My heart goes out to you. Be gentle with yourselves, honor your mother/grandmother/friend by all the good qualities she instilled in each one of you, and you can pass on to others.

For all the Coleman Family: Sorry I am so late about hearing of your Mom’s passing She was a sweet lady! We go back along time, because my Mom and Dad were friends of Laura and John’s when they lived on Douglas Avenue. I visited her a couple of times in Venice, Florida and back here in Kalamazoo. Cherish the wonderful memories you all have. She is at peace now with John and God by her side.

I am so sorry to learn of Laura’s death. I know you all miss her very much. It’s difficult to lose one’s parents.
I am Ruth Ann Bates, stepdaughter of Harry. I know they were close friends of John and Laura. Harry and my mother are both dead. Harry died December 4th, 2003, and Mom died March 11th, 2015.
