Larry was a man after God’s own heart, a witness for God’s saving grace, which is offered to anyone who will confess and repent of their sins and accept by faith His free gift of salvation. Jesus paid the price for us to be freed from our sin and to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. This was Larry’s hope in life and his reality now that he’s with his Savior in Heaven. Jackie may God bless you and keep you safe in His loving arms until you and Larry can once again sing His praises together.

Larry was the very first person that I met in Otsego when I moved here. I remember that cold nasty morning the end of November and he assisted me with directions. He remained a first name basis individual at Hardings until his retirement. I visited First Baptist Church with intention of making it my home Church. Larry, with the assistance of his wife did the best they could to get me connected.

Larry I am sure has left his positive mark on many many others. He now has his home in glory! Praise the Lord! I am sure he will be missed by all those close to him and his world.

We are so sorry for your loss! Larry was a great man – not just as a person but to work for as well. He hired so many Rohr’s, Lapekas’, Bonger’s and Wilson’s! We were all family at Harding’s. We remember at our wedding that Father O’Meara asked if the store was shut down because so many of our Harding’s family was at our wedding! Our thoughts and prayers are with all you!

Larry was my “boss” at Harding’s in the mid 1970’s. He was one of the best supervisors, and hardest workers I have ever been around.

I really looked up to and admired him, Larry led by example. He had a strong faith in God and I know he is with him now in Heaven. Condolences to his family, he was truly a great man.

Garry and Larry’s Family: I’m so sorry to learn of Larry’s passing. I, too, worked with Larry & Garry (and with Jerry Haight) during my Senior year. It was a good time and I will always have great memories of Hardings, my fellow employees and the Parrish boys! Larry was thought well of by those who worked for him at Hardings. May your wonderful memories help you through your difficult times. Rest In Peace, Larry!
