Larry D. Foe
Larry D. Foe of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010, in Grand Rapids. Larry was born August 14, 1943, in Dawson Springs, KY, to Harry and Mary (Howell) Foe. In his leisure time Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and working crossword puzzles. Surviving are two grandchildren, Kim Blake of Cedar Springs and Charles A. Slone of Plainwell; his siblings, Helen Roberts of Allen Park, MI, Pearl Imojean Thorpe of Isley, KY, Forrest Foe of Nortonville, KY, Billy Foe of Georgia, Sammy Foe of Henderson, KY, James Foe of Gibraltar, MI, Lurley Foe of Clay, KY, Phyllis Shoulders and Glen Foe, both of Henderson, KY; many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Ella (LeMaster) Foe in 2003; a son, Charles E. Slone in 2006; a brother, Douglas; and two sisters, Rose and Wanda. Friends may meet with Larry’s family from 10 to 11 A.M. Friday at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., with funeral celebrant Bill Rose officiating. Cremation will follow. Contributions in memory of Larry may be made to the American Cancer Society.
