Kevin P Strickfaden

Kevin passed away, Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Metro Health in Grand Rapids.

 He was born February 9, 1962, in Allegan, the son of Richard and Jeanna (Steggal) Strickfaden. Kevin worked at Stow Company in Holland for 7 years and previously at Meade-Johnson.

 In his free time Kevin loved to fish. He also enjoyed hunting and taxidermy. Kevin was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. On July 3, 2011, at the Gun River Conservation Club in Plainwell, he married Diane Mayville who survives. 

Also surviving are his children, Emily Strickfaden and her fiancé of Grand Rapids and Evan (Emily) Jones of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren; mother, Jeanna Stearns; siblings, Clarence, Guy and Victor Strickfaden, Billy Stearns and Robin Ihel along with several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Mark and Bobbie. 

A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 22, 2024, at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego, with Pastor Paul Laborde officiating.
