Kevin Dean Roselip of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 12, 2013. He was born August 29, 1971 in Kalamazoo, MI.
For several years he was employed reconstructing electric motors. Kevin always tried to be the tough guy, never letting family or friends know how much they really meant to him. But he did more for them than he could have put into words. His mom and sister were at the top of his list.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Roselip in 1995.
Surviving are his daughters, Krystal Roselip of Otsego, Lacey Wiard and Alysia Wiard, both of Kalamazoo; his mother, Dixie Roselip of Otsego; brother Billy Roselip of Otsego; sisters, Kathy (Walter) Marble of Otsego and Sherry (Aaron) Shannon of Plainwell; his best friend, Glenda Pillars of Otsego; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with his family from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the
Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego
, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, with Mr. Dave Nondorf officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Contributions in memory of Kevin may be made to the
American Cancer Society
.
Kevin will be missed and kept forever in our hearts – see ya later Kevin.

I have so many memories of Kevin. The trip to Cedar Point, the many trips to Pleasure Island and Michigans Adventure. The way he treated my son like a brother. Or the impish grin of his when he knew he and just caught you in one of his many practical jokes. Krystal and Lacey remember his smile and how much he loved both of you. To Dixie, Kathy, Bill and Sherry you will always have your memories of Kevin and keep those close to you in your heart.

I will never forget the long talks we had and the softer side that Kevin showed me that he didn’t show to many. He had a big heart and he loved his kids. He will be missed

Our hearts and prayers go out to Kevin’s family. I have so many memories of Kevin. One of my favorite’s from the roller rink days when he was a kid. If you didn’t pay attention he would skate right between your legs to get around you. He always seemed to find away around obstacles in his way. He will be missed dearly.

Kevin was a special person to many and all that truly knew him seen his softer side he hide behind his tough guy prankster persona. I have so many fond memories of Kevin and will cherish them always. Over the years I have lost contact with Kevin, but he was the kind of guy that no matter how much time had passed your friendship was still there. The last time I seen Kevin I got one of his amazing hugs. The one’s where you think he is going to squeeze all the breath out of you. My heart goes out to Kevin’s family and his dearest friend Glenda. Love you all. The The Pillars and Phillips family.
