Worked with Kevin many years ago at Harding’s. He was always so much fun to be around. Glad his suffering is over, but so sad he’s gone!

Kevin was such a huge blessing to our family for 25 years. He had such a bond with my dad and being an only child I frequently tagged along on their adventures. We enjoyed hunting, fishing, flea market perusing, gun show shenanigans, gaming, and so much more. I like to think that Kevin and I changed history by his life lesson he taught me: when at a fast food restaurant, if your paper doesn’t slide off your tray then the entire thing gets tossed…now these places have circular holes. Kevin and I probably had something to do with that. 😉 So sad that he is no longer a physical piece of our lives, but I can find happiness knowing that he will always be alive in our memories. I’m thankful that he is no longer in pain and he is now able to share his words of wisdom with my son, Liam. We love you Eckert family and are continuing to pray for you through this painful time.

I came to work at Lipari Foods in 2007. Kevin was the first remote night shuttle driver I met when staying later into the evening on the Night Warehouse Shipping Shift. Kevin was one of our lead drivers, and he always had something positive to say, no matter how difficult the roads or the loads might be. He was always friendly and had a smile on his face, despite all of the different challenges we have in the world of Food Distribution Operations. Nothing ever seemed to bring him down.

I feel very lucky to have worked with Kevin over the years. He welcomed me as a new employee, and it was always a pleasure to see him to make small talk with him, or just to say “Hi”. In the simplest of terms, I am proud to have known Kevin Eckert and am a better man because of it. Rest in Peace Kevin!
