December 6, 1942

in Plainwell, the son of Kenneth F. and Betty J. (Edson) Galloway. Ken was a 1961 graduate of

High School

where he played baseball, basketball and football. After high school, he played minor league baseball and for 9 years was the varsity baseball coach for

Gull

Lake

High School

. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, and worked as an assembler at General Motors for 39 years, retiring on

December 1, 2004

. He enjoyed golfing, working in the yard, mowing the lawn, attending NASCAR races and especially spending time with his family. Ken is survived by a son, Eric Galloway of Otsego; Eric’s mother, Joyce Galloway of Otsego; a granddaughter, Haley Nicolle Galloway; Ken’s companion of 18 years, Linda Birdsall of Otsego; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, David Galloway. Friends may meet with the family Sunday from

2:00 – 5:00 P.M.

at the

Winkel Funeral Home,

where services will be held Monday at

11:00 A.M.

, Funeral Celebrant, William Rose officiating. Military graveside honors by VFW Post #3030 will be held at
