We will really miss June. She was our (Lisa Keene) Matron of Honor at our wedding. Found that our roots were deeply set in Michigan – birthdays both in the month of June just seven days apart – the “fab five” of us in “our gang” with birthdays in June always made for a “big splash” with a big dinner out and a bunch of b-day cards exchanged – which she always headed up. Always solid, sensitive, and sensible she was and such a good friend to so many. With so much “fortitude” most of us figured she would come through this as she did with previous problems. All those years of fighting the good fight – it was not to be this time – the moment in life that is the most difficult. She was so loved. God Bless.

To June’s Family

I’m very sorry for your loss. When I seen June she was always a happy person. Always smiling, always laughing. I always use to ask her.How she could still be sane after being a bus driver? June would just look at me and laugh. That would make me laugh too. Heaven surely got a sweet Angel. May God bless you with comfort, peace, guidence, and love.

I remember, in high school, June as the bus driver we all wanted to drive us to away games. She always greeted us with a smile and got us to our games safely & quickly!!!

I would see June at some of the fairs watching the horse races and she would ask how the summer was going.

Condolences to her family & friends.

Even if we moved hundreds of miles apart, we were still the best of friends. I am going to miss Junes on-line humor and jokes. She will always be remembered in my heart as she has been for the last 25 years. May God bless Hal and the family

June was married for years to my uncle (Bob Shipley) She was always like a “true” aunt to me, not just by marriage. She was so loving and caring, I remember her being there for our family when my dad died and gave me her support in her soft spoken, kind words. I also remember going to the races with them when I was young, she loved her horses!

My heart goes out to all of the family, you are in our prayers. June will be a happy face in our memories forever.

My Aunt June was a very special woman. I will miss her very much. I was only 12 when she passed. It was only 3 weeks before my 13th birthday. I wish she could of seen me turn into a young lady. I think about her all the time. She is always on my mind. I love you Aunt June!! <3
