Rob and I have many fond memories of time with Aunt Joyce and Uncle Raymond. They would stop over often and we would laugh and laugh. They used to bring Uncle Lester, Aunt Virginia to see us and go for boat rides. Dinners out…just good fun.

We will remember you always!!

I am so very sorry for your loss. I’ve known Joyce for many years as she was my sister-in-law’s (Paula Stevenson) sister. It’s very hard to lose someone you love (I know this because I lost my husband of 42 years 4 years ago).

Joyce was always kind to me and I liked her alot. She’s in a better place now <3 R.I.P. Joyce

Mom – I found this poem for you. One day, I will see you again in that place where all is forgiven. Where there are no more tears, no more pain, and no more sadness. You did know – that no matter what – I loved you. And I knew the same. Enjoy the blessings God has prepared for you in heaven.

Mom is gone to heaven

No more suffering

No more Pain

She went to be with Jesus

She didn’t go in vain

Peace and Calm surround her

Her mind is hers again

She met up with (all who went before her)

Who were waiting at the gate

They took her to meet Jesus

You know she wasn’t late

She put her arms around him

Looked up at his face

She said Father thank you for saving me

And bringing me to this place

I have one prayer to pray Lord

And I’ve prayed it all along

The ones I’ve left behind me

Please see them safely Home

I’ll meet them at the River

When they have finished their race

I told them where to meet me

It’s the very best place

I remember Aunt Joyce taking me to my first ever drive-in movie when I was a little kid with my cousins, I think the movie was Mary Poppins, I thought that was so cool, getting to watch a movie in your car on a really big screen. I will never forget you Aunt Joyce. Uncle Ray, Deb, Mike, Karen, Ray & families May God’s peace and love surround you to get you through your difficult days.

So many hours we talked on the phone, I already miss that. I will miss all the times Joyce & Ray would pick up Virginia and myself and drive to Essenhaus Restaurant in Indiana for a great meal and great company, or go for a drive and end up in South Haven and get an ice cream cone. All the times Joyce & Ray would pick me up and go to Pizza Hut for lunch, I’ll miss that too. To my brother Raymond and his family, God will wrap his loving arms around you and give you comfort in your days of sadness. God bless all of you. You will be missed my sister-in-law. Rest In Peace. So sorry to read about Joyce. We first met at the PTA at Cooper Elementary when our kids went to school together there. Deb later became our baby sitter. Joyce was so friendly and down to earth. We used to do a lot of talking and laughing. Throughout the years we would see each other now and then, but we could pick up where we left off. She certainly loved her kids and was very proud of them. I’ll miss her. May the Lord be with you all.
