Joseph A. Forstner

Joe passed away, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at his home in Allegan. 

He was born July 26, 1956, in Allegan, the son of Joseph and Marcella (Goerlitz) Forstner. For many years Joe worked at Perrigo until his retirement in July 2021. Joe also owned and operated Forstner’s Blueberry Farm from 1985 to present. 

He enjoyed listening to music, motorcycles and watching the 3 Stooges. On February 14, 1976, he married Mary Smith who passed away in 2008. On March 4, 2016, in China, he married Shirong Li who survives. 

Also surviving are his children, Mary (Brian) Jenkins, Angela Marie, Joe (Brandi) Kasdorf, Michael (Lindsey) Forstner, Sarah (Jason Raulston) Jones and David Forstner along with 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and sister, Anna. 

Friends may visit with Joe’s family starting at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Jeff Bream officiating.

Burial will follow at Mallory Cemetery in Trowbridge Township.
