So sorry to read this, Polly. Prayers and hugs go out to you. Joe certainly lived a very long life. Grieving is exhausting and takes a lot of work. Try to get as much rest as possible. May the good Lord shine upon you and bring you peace.

I used to be a Lanphear, and my Mother was originally Lola Irons, so Pauline is my cousin. My husband and I live in Winter Haven, FL and last winter discovered that Joe and Pauline lived only about 10 miles away from us. We had a nice visit with them a couple of months ago, and I will be going to the Memorial being held down here. I had last seen them over 45 years ago.. But both Joe and Pauline knew who I was when I said my Mom’s name. Joe was a great guy and will be missed by all.
I’d love to hear from any family members. I did see Judy (Irons) a few years ago while living in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
