John Howard Lynch Jr. age 62 passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
He was born July 12, 1953 in Kalamazoo to John and Joy (Brauer) Lynch. John was a 1972 Plainwell High School graduate and had worked construction in the area for many years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles; but only Harleys, shooting pool, fishing, playing guitar and every morning he watched the Shepard’s Chapel on T.V. He enjoyed his family and liked giving those he loved a hard time once in a while.
John is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Havice) Lynch; children, Jennifer Wedge of FL, Johanna Lynch of Decatur, Jonathon Lynch of Decatur, Jesse (Katie Bailey) Lynch of Lawton, Jessica (Brock) Boyer of IL, David (Janis) Havice of Gobles, Ray Ellis of Kalamazoo, Jared Yeaman of Gobles and Matthew (Randi) Yeaman of Gobles; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; mother, Joy Stowell; and siblings, David Lynch and Dawn King.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Lynch Sr. and by his brother, Rickey Lynch.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial luncheon will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 1pm at the V.F.W. Post #3030 in Otsego.
Burial of ashes will take place at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. So sorry about Johnny. He was a special guy. We will miss him too. I wish we could be there with all of you at this time, but we are in Florida. He put up a good fight for many years. I know it was hard for him to leave all of you. He loved you very much.

So sorry to hear about Johnny, wish we weren’t so far away at this time, we are in Florida. I have great memories of spending time with our Lynch “cousins”. We are praying for all of you.
