) Latta. For many years he was employed with Metal Components Inc. in
Wyoming
, MI, and for the last few years he was a truck driver and really loved the cross country trips. Surviving are a daughter and a son, Angel (Jason) Scott of Texas and John (Carla) Latta, Jr. of Plainwell; three grandchildren, Samantha, Nathan and Kevin; and his brothers Jerry and Donnie. His sister, Donna, preceded him in death. The family will receive friends beginning at
10 AM
Saturday
at the
Winkel Funeral Home in
Otsego
with funeral services following at
11:00 A.M.
, Pastor Timothy Secord officiating. Cremation will follow.

I know its 6 years later but i just found out not that long ago.i was lucky enough to know john sr back in the 80’s when i meet and feel in love with his son john jr.he was always so sweet and up beat.john latta jr i am so sorry that u lost ur father.i know it hurt u bad and i wish i could of been here for u.make him proud and be the man he was and u always have been.wish i knew how to get ahold of u so i could say sorry in person and just see how u r.
i will never for get ur father he was pretty kewl.hope ur well.
