Jimmy T. Irving

Jimmy T. Irving, age 64, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 in Kalamazoo. Jimmy was born December 13, 1959 in Germany to Rodney and Johanna (Hartmann) Irving.  The family moved to the United States when he was 3 years old, and made their home in Otsego.   

Jimmy graduated from Otsego High School in 1978.  He was a very social person, and loved traveling, building models, hunting and fishing, was a Sci-Fi buff, enjoyed reading about history and was also active with the Boy Scouts for many years.

He is survived by his son Jimmy, sister: Terrie (David) Folk, brother Michael Irving, and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by both parents.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service to be held at a later date.
