Jill Garrison
Jill M. Garrison, Kalamazoo, MI (formerly of Otsego, MI) passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at her home in Friendship Village in Kalamazoo, MI.
She was born on October 9, 1941 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Lloyd and Helen (Bujack) Bowker. She was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and had worked for the James River Company for almost 30 years. She had attended the Alamo Congregational Church and the First Baptist Church in Otsego. Jill was married to Glenn M. Garrison in 1968; he preceded her in death in 1994.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Heather Stephenson of Otsego, Scott Stephenson of CA and Kelsey Culver of MI; and 3 great-grandchildren, Amelia, Adysin and Axel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Dawn Riley; and by a brother, Jack Bowker.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Richard Larson officiating.

Jill was a lovely lady in the true sense. She was fun to be with and enjoyed her visits to our pool in the summer. Always asked her “Second Family” ( Mar yKay Larson and Wendy Larson) about Jill after she moved to Friendship Village.

I remember when Aunt Jill married my Uncle Glenn, and her daughter, dawn was only about 4 yrs old. Aunt Jill came to many Thanksgivings and Christmases at my home, and we always had a very fun family time with her. Aunt Jill was accepted and liked very much when she became a family member. I will miss her very much. Rest in Peace, Aunt Jill. Love, your niece, Nancy
