January 30, 1928

in

Douglas

to Frank and Betsie Veenkant. Jennie had worked for several Allegan area restaurants before working in the laundry at Pine Oaks Nursing Home for 19 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing solitaire, the Chicago Cubs and watching her grandsons. Surviving are a daughter, Sue (Robert Sr.) Sinkler of Kansas; 2 grandsons, Todd of Kansas and Thomas of Colorado; 3 great-grandsons, Christian, Colin and Thomas Jr.; 3 sisters, Frances Wentzel of

Holland

, Anne Miller of

Arkansas

, Edith Kaiser of

Kentucky

; a brother, Herman of

Florida

; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 26 at

11:00 A.M.

at the

Winkel Funeral Home,

Otsego.

Contributions in memory of Jennie may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
