Jeff passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in Ann Arbor.

He was born March 28, 1964 in Rapid City, South Dakota, the son of Robert and Martha (Coffee) Novotny. For 25 years Jeff had worked at Stryker Instruments in Kalamazoo. Jeff was a super hero movie fanatic and in his spare time enjoyed riding dune buggies at Silver Lake and tinkering in his garage.

Surviving are his children, Phillip (Erinn Routh) Novotny and Alecia Novotny both of Otsego; grandchildren, Leroy, Kolby and Dakota; his mother; sister, Kristy (Chuck) Cushman of Plainwell and niece and nephews, Chase, Emma and Carter Cushman.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandson, Andrew Novotny in 2007.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 21, 2017 at At the Master’s Feet Discipleship Ministry in Otsego with Pastor Ray Brown officiating.
