We have lost a wonderful person, my Auntie. I must say I thought this day would never happen because how full of life she was. She had a great deal of passion and such a love to share the family history with everyone. You can tell how proud she was of all of her family, especially her brother Eugene. We had a special relationship and I will dearly miss her with all my heart. With all the tragedies this family has gone through, I hope that we all continue to keep the same perspective that our fallen family members had…the importance of family. We were lucky to have known and shared the title of family with Auntie, grandpa, grandma, great-grandpa, and great grandma. May they all rest in peace.

My parents were very good friends of Jackie’s when she lived in Phoenix. We spent almost every summer weekend at her apartment and swimming pool. My parents used to let me sleep over and I remember sleeping on the day bed and she would be out on the patio with friends and kept the door open so I wouldn’t be scared. I loved Jackie as did my parents! I just looked her up and discovered she had passed. Rest in peace Jackie!
