Jackie and I have been friends since the fourth grade and all through high school, We shared our first apartment together after leaving home and she was the maid of honor in my wedding. We lost track for many years but became reaquainted a year ago. I am so sad about her passing. She will be greatly missed. I loved her very much. My condolences to her family.

To all of Jackie’s family,

Jackie was one of the kindest Most special people I have ever known;it was a wonderful thing to have her call you Friend. Her passing leaves an aching emptiness that can never be filled. Please take comfort in knowing that she was loved by so many and that she will always remain in our hearts.

You are in my thoughts, especially you Maxine.

I am very sad to learn of Jackie’s passing. Just a short while ago I was talking to her about meeting for lunch and she had to cancel for a doctor appointment. She was a very dear friend during school years and we fell out of touch and thanks to Face Book and School Network we were able to reconnect. I wish we had worked harder to get together. To her family, my prayers for peace and comfort for you. I am glad she got to get out a bit on Saturday to walk the dog. God Bless everyone who’s lives she touched and God Bless Jackie Newton…

I am so sorry to hear about Jacque’s passing. While very good friends in school, we’d lost touch, and had just started to reconnect. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Jackie was the best Aunt, Troy and I could have had. She always thought of us and never herself. She was always the strong one in the family. she was stronger then any of us even when she found out she had cancer and they couldn’t do anything to help her. She took care of Grandma day-in and day-out with out complaning. I am proud to say that she taught me how to be a giver and not a taker. Even though Jackie didn’t have any kids she treated Troy and I like her own. When ever someone asked her to do something she was there. I can’t tell you how much she is going to be missed. I just wish she would have let us have at least a gathering in her honor but again she was thinking of everyone else and not wanting to be a burden. So, in her honor we will do what she wished.

How do you say good bye to a very close girl friend from high school that you just found again after 45 years? How do you say ” I was so happy to see you” again my friend. I sent you an email just this past Saturday and wanting to plan a dinner next week. God must have thought he needed you in heaven to do something for him. We were hoping to keep you with us yet for awhile – I will miss your endearing smile and your laughter and cute jokes. I will miss the Jackie that I had overnights with and spent hours talking about boys, clothes and all of those girl things we shared.

To her family & close friends, may memories sustain you during this painful time of grief – the quickness in which she has left you has certainly stunned you – the pain will lessen but the memories will never leave you. God Bless you and know that Jackie is at peace.

I am both shocked and saddened that Jackie is gone. I recently saw a picture that Terri had posted on facebook and saw that bright smile & twinkle in her eye that was unmistakenly “Jackie”

My prayers go out to her family and all those close to her.

Jackie and I met through my sister-in-law Judy and my brother Clint. When Clint & Judy were dating, Jackie and I would tag along occassionally to the movies. We were the unofficial chaperones. In April I saw Jackie at Clint & Judy’s 70th party and had a good chat. I will cherish the memories and will miss her smile. My heart goes out to Clint and Judy and Maxine and all who loved her. Rest in peace Jackie.

I have special memories of Jackie from our years in Junior High and High School in Otsego….such as “pajama parties” at different friends homes or in back yards. I remember her quiet ways and always laughing easily. We recently had been in touch again through Facebook and it is such a shock that she is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
